Abstract

Implementation of policies on the BMW application (Berkas Mlaku Dewe) in improving the quality of public services in Sukodono District, Sidoarjo Regency. In the service process that occurred in Sukodono District, which arose because of public complaints about administrative services that were considered less effective and efficient because it took a long time and a lot of energy was expended because they had to go back and forth to the District Office. Furthermore, to see the policy implementation of the BMW service process (Berkas Mlaku Dhewe) at the Sukodono District Office, an analysis is used that is in accordance with the theory used by researchers, namely Policy Implementation according to Van Meter and Van Horn (1975). BMW (Berkas Mlaku Dhewe) is an application that connects village and subdistrict governments to simplify, facilitate and bring services closer to the community, the BMW application is a web-based application that can be accessed via the intranet or the internet. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The focus of this research is the Implementation of the Berkas Mlaku Dewe Application Policy (BMW) in Sukodono District. The data used are words by interviewing informants face to face, and written sources through documents. The data sources used are primary data sources, secondary data sources. The informant determination technique used is purposive. The data that has been obtained is then checked for validity and then presented and analyzed by presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the community is satisfied with the services provided by the Sukodono District, as evidenced by the absence of public complaints about the services provided, the implementation of services in the Sukodono District because it has fulfilled the components which include the time to complete the service process becomes faster, ease of access service through the freedom to choose the time by the applicant as a form of service justice in serving all levels of society and an effective work process because it has met the goals of the problems that occur.
