Abstract

Instagram is an application for sharing photos and videos that allows usersto take photos, as well as videos, apply digital filters andshare themto various social networking services, including instagram itself. Therefore, researchers use social media Instagram to conduct self- presentation research. One of the people who use social media for self-presentation is Pandhu Waskhita. Her profession is travel influencer. The purpose of this study is to represent the visual metode and self- presentation of Pandhu Waskhita in Instagram social media using Self Presentation strategy approach. The type ofresearch used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Researchers conducted an analysis of @backpackertampan Instagram reels with a period of 2022 in August – December 2022. The results of this study show that PandhuWaskhita uses five strategies of Self Presentation. Self Presentation strategy conducted by Pandhu Waskhita is using ingratation and intimidation strategy followed by self promotion strategy, exemplification and supplicationstrategy.
