Abstract

Stunting is a disorder of child growth and development which is very slow, thus causing malnutrition and minimizing intelligence in children. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) that cases of stunting are caused by nutritional needs that do not meet standards in children. Stunting is the main focus of the city government, including the city of Surabaya. Based on Surabaya Mayor Regulation No. 79 of 2022 concerning reducing stunting which says that in realizing healthy, intelligent human resources and achieving development goals, a reduction in stunting is needed. Even though the data on the prevalence of stunting in the city of Surabaya has decreased, the Surabaya City Government continues to appeal to the public and stakeholders to overcome this stunting case. Therefore, there is a need for cooperation with stakeholders from the private sector, academia, NGOs, mass media and other agencies. The purpose of this study is to analyze Collaborative Governance in the Implementation of Perwali No. 79 of 2022 concerning Accelerating the Reduction of Stunting in the City of Surabaya and to analyze the inhibiting and supporting factors of Collaborative Governance in the Implementation of Perwali No. 79 of 2022 concerning Accelerating the Reduction of Stunting in the City of Surabaya. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are a form of collaboration carried out by the government, private sector, mass media, NGOs, and academics, good communication is well established, and the results of the collaboration have had a good impact because the prevalence of stunting always decreases from year to year, it's just that it's an obstacle in tackling stunting is related to the very high mobility of the population in the city of Surabaya.
