Abstract
Meningkatnya usia harapan hidup di Indonesia, populasi lanjut usia juga semakin meningkat pesat hingga akan mengalami peningkatan ageing population tahun 2030 (Kemenkes RI, 2013). Kebutuhan fasilitas terapi jangka panjang seperti, panti wredha akan dibutuhkan. Namun tidak semua Panti Wredha di Indonesia dilengkapi dengan fasilitas terapi demensia yang sebagian besar bersifat ekslusif atau diperuntukan bagi masyarakat menengah keatas. Kondisi tersebut mempersulit pasien demensia kalangan bawah dan terlantar. Lansia terlantar memiliki potensi besar terkait masalah yang akan terjadi pada usia lanjut seperti masalah kesehatan dan ekonomi yang dapat menjadi halangan perkembangan disebuah kota. Modifikasi lingkungan merupakan salah satu cara dalam perancangan untuk menyelesaikan persoalan terkait. Dengan memodifikasi lingkungan menjadi lebih terarah untuk menciptakan sebuah kawasan khusus, konsep impresi diambil dengan menyesuaikan perilaku pengguna. Impresi adalah sebuah cara seseorang untuk merasakan sesuatu. Dari hasil perumuan konsep, agar perancangan ini memiliki prinsi dasar, maka pendekatan perilaku digunakan untuk menghasilkan sebuah kriteria perencanaan Panti Wredha dengan fasilitas terapi demensia. Hingga disimpulkan bahwa dalam perencanaan Panti Wredha dengan pendekatan perilaku mampu menciptakan desain sesuai sirkulasi, pola tata ruang, fasilitas, bangunan, dan material yang mempertimbangkan psikologis dan kebutuhan lansia demensia dengam memanfaatkan kondisi lingkungan agar lebih mendukung
