Abstract
Indonesian people depend on micro, small and medium enterprises commonly referred to as MSMEs, this is because Micro and Small Enterprises are flexible and able to adapt to changing market conditions compared to large companies. Therefore, they try to make their own simple work that is not organised and does not have a certain level of salary, because of these conditions so they grow an interest in developing their own business. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between entrepreneurial knowledge and entrepreneurial characteristics on the success of small micro businesses in Ngagelrejo Village. This research uses quantitative research methods. Using nonprobability sampling method (non-random sampling) with purposive sampling technique. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that first, partially the value of t count> t table (4.550> 1.660) and a significant level of 0.000 <0.05. Thus indicating that entrepreneurial knowledge has a significant positive effect on business success. Second, partially the t value > t table (4.324 > 1.660) and a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, it shows that entrepreneurial characteristics have a significant positive effect on business success. Then, from the results of the calculated F value of 91.467> F table of 3.09 and significant at 0.000, indicating that entrepreneurial knowledge and entrepreneurial characteristics have a significant effect together on the success of small micro in Ngagelrejo Village. Therefore, business actors must have entrepreneurial knowledge obtained from formal, informal education and experience will help them understand the business they are running and the obstacles they face, fostering the ability and willingness to think creatively and innovatively.
