Abstract
The formation of a Participatory Monitoring Digital Community by the General Election Supervisory Agency has the aim of facilitating the public in exchanging information regarding SARA exploitation, campaigns containing hate speech, and can reduce the risk of spreading hoax news by handling quickly because everything is uploaded and reported on the "Jarimu Awasi Pemilu” is directly connected by the RI Bawaslu. The launching of the “Jarimu Awasi Pemilu” program is a strategy for Bawaslu to uphold justice and maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to find out the communication of the Sidoarjo Regency General Election Supervisory Board with regard to the implementation of the "Jarimu Awasi Pemilu" program to all levels of society in the Sidoarjo region. The results of the research obtained by researchers were that the launch of the "Jarimu Awasi Pemilu" program was in accordance with the Regulation of the General Election Supervisory Agency of the Republic of Indonesia No. 2 of 2023 concerning Participatory Supervision. Bawaslu of Sidoarjo Regency has set three main targets in providing outreach related to "Your Finger Watches Elections", namely (1) Millennial Youth, (2) Election Concerned Communities (Stakeholders), (3) Technology-savvy Communities. By using the media (1) Sidoarjo Bawaslu official account, (2) Movement of a thousand statuses via WhatsApp (3) Finger Monitoring Command Post. These three things become media channels in conducting communication carried out by the Sidoarjo Bawaslu for socialization related to the implementation of the "Jarimu Awasi Pemilu" program. The conclusion obtained in this study is that the communication carried out by the Sidoarjo Regency Bawaslu regarding the implementation of the "Jarimu Awasi Pemilu" program cannot reach every layer of society in the Sidoarjo Regency area. Program implementation communication is successful if only seen from the point of view of the Sidoarjo Regency Bawaslu and Panwaslu officials. From a societal point of view, the communication of the "Jarimu Awasi Pemilu" program carried out by the Sidoarjo Bawaslu has no influence on the community, which means that the Sidoarjo Bawaslu failed to socialize the "Jarimu Awasi Pemilu" program.
