Abstract
At this time the world has been facing advances in technology and information that has developed very rapidly marked by the existence of machines in the industry. So that in its development it is hoped that both the central and regional governments must be able to adapt through the introduction of technology-based innovations. One application that combines an information system with a service that has been created by one of the government agencies in East Java, namely the Social Services Office of Prov. East Java is SIM-LONTAR (Displaced Person Service Management Information System). However, there are still problems in the implementation of SIM-LONTAR that need improvement, the problem is that FaceId and SIM-LONTAR are out of sync due to different servers. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the application of SIM-LONTAR in the East Java Province Social Service. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with several informants. This study uses the theory of success indicators from the results of studies and research by the Harvard JFK School of Government in Indrajit's book (2006) which includes three indicators of success, namely; supports; capacities; and values. The results of the study show that the implementation of SIM-LONTAR can be said to be successful, although there are still obstacles that slightly impede performance in providing services but have no effect so that they can still serve the repatriation of displaced people properly and the application of this application is very beneficial so that it helps services run efficiently.
