Abstract
UD Nusa is one of the shuttlecock manufacturers in the city of Nganjuk. The shuttlecock is the ball used in badminton. The raw materials needed to make shuttlecocks include feathers, thread, cork, ribbon, glue, and brand stamps. The procurement of raw materials by this company often experiences stockouts, especially for fur, cork and yarn raw materials, resulting in consumer demand not being fulfilled optimally. The company does not yet have the right method of handling raw material planning in overcoming this.The company strives to carry out production planning and control so that raw material requirements can be well planned, production processes run optimally, and consumer demands are met to the fullest. To overcome the problems faced by the company, namely through the planning of raw material requirements using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method.The results of data processing using MRP with the lot sizing Lot For Lot (LFL) method, Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ), Fixed Period Requirement (FPR), and Period Order Quantity (POQ) obtained the order plan for each period, the amount needed for each product at a cost Minimum inventory from lot sizing of the black Nusa brand shuttlecock is IDR 12,116,500, the Kalimantan Oren brand shuttlecock is IDR 12,345,000, and the Kalimantan red brand shuttlecock is IDR 11,814,000.
