Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju dengan teknologi berkembang dengan pesat, dan memudahkan penyebaran informasi yang membuat budaya asing atau luar masuk ke dalam suatu negara. Terutama pengaruh budaya asing terhadap makanan menjadikan perubahan selera masyarakat Indonesia. Seperti makanan cepat saji atau fast food jenis makanan yang mudah dikemas dan praktis. Salah satu makanan praktis dalam membuat atau memakannya adalah Onigiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Suatu metode yang bertujuan untuk membuat gambaran atau deskriptif suatu penelitian secara objektif yang menggunakan angka, mulai dari pengumpulan data, penafsiran terhadap data tersebut serta penampilan dan hasilnya. Pengumpulan sampel dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner berupa link secara online kepada 100 orang Responden remaja mengenai budaya konsumtif makanan Jepang Onigiri pada remaja di kota Gresik. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis skala likert dan kolerasi spearman rank. Hasil yang diperoleh data sakala likert jenis rasa onigiri yang paling disukai adalah "Onigiri Rasa Hot Tuna" disusul oleh "Onigiri Rasa Chicken Mayo" lalu "Onigiri Rasa Chicken Teriyaki " dengan angka Interpretasi 46,53% yang berarti minat responden pada onigiri dikatagorikan “Tidak Suka”. Hasil uji coba spearman rank dari 1 sampai 4 dari analisis diketahui Hipotesis nol (Ho) Ditolak dan Hipotensis alternatif (Ha) Diterima atau dengan kata lain bahwa pertanyaan pertama dengan pertanyaan kedua memiliki korelasi yang signifikan, berarti responden pernah mencoba makan onigiri dan mereka tidak terlalu konsumtif dalam memakan onigiri.
