Abstract

Pada era digital sekarang, sistem informasi merupakan bagian yang sulit untuk dipisahkan dari setiap proses yang dilalui oleh segala sektor perindustrian. Tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa sekarang semua sektor perindustrian membutuhkan yang nama nya sistem informasi, terlebih instansi tersebut bergerak disektor pemerintahan. Salah satu bagian instansi pemerintahan yang benar-benar membutuhkan sistem informasi untuk proses pekerjaan yaitu bidang kesehatan. Pada bidang kesehatan, data dari tempat lain seperti rumah sakit dan puskesmas merupakan data yang sangat penting apalagi data tersebut bersifat rahasia. Seiring perkembangan, maka muncul sistem informasi kesehatan yang merupakan tingkat lanjut dari sistem informasi pendataan. Manajemen dari sistem informasi tersebut perlahan mulai mengalami perkembangan yang benar-benar menjadikan peran teknologi sistem informasi sangat dibutuhkan pada proses tersebut. Dengan perkembangan tersebut, tidak jarang sistem informasi yang digunakan mengalami kendala dengan permasalahan masing-masing. Seperti pada Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Timur, yang memerlukan pengembangan terkait sistem informasi center view agar proses yang berjalan bisa efisien mengingat kebutuhan data untuk bagian mereka sangatlah penting. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan juga tidak boleh sembarangan karena berhubungan juga dengan tahap pengembangan kedepannya. Maka dari itu, digunakanlah metode Lean Software Development untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi tersebut. Metode tersebut merupakan metode yang mementingkan feedback dari customer (pemilik sistem informasi). Untuk pengerjaan nya juga metode tersebut akan mengeliminasi limbah (bagian sistem) yang tidak digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan sistem informasi yang digunakan. Semua metode pasti memiliki kelebihan dan juga kekurangan masing masing, namun berdasarkan studi kasus yang diangkat metode tersebut cocok diterapkan karena hanya mengurangi bagian-bagian yang tidak digunakan tanpa merombak total sistem informasi tersebut.
