Abstract

This paper describes the design of IoT to monitor water quality in freshwater aquariums. Keeping fish in an aquarium is a common hobby shared by many people. In fact, currently the hobby of keeping fish in an aquarium is growing. Not just keeping one or two types of ornamental fish, hobbyists are now increasingly pursuing aquascape. For information, Aquascape is an imitation of a natural underwater ecosystem created in an aquarium. Apart from fish, aquascape hobbyists equip the aquarium with underwater plants and electronic devices to regulate the temperature and pH of the water. The ornamental fish nurse electronic device is an automatic tool that can help such as adjusting the temperature of the aquarium water. This tool was made with the aim of knowing how to work or how the system for maintaining automatic ornamental fish based on the Internet of Things (IoT). T his tool is designed to use Nodemcu-ESP 8266 as control and Wifi connection. The input for this tool uses a temperature sensor DS-18B20, pH meter sensor and turbidity sensor. The output of this tool uses an LCD to display the water content values and the Adafruit.io website is used to connect the tool to nodemcu.
