Abstract

Selama masa Pandemi, job insecurity menjadi satu keadaan yang dirasakan sebagai hal mengancam oleh banyak karyawan, terutama setelah diberlakukannya kebijakan pengurangan tenaga kerja sebagai respon penurunan produksi karena situasi yang dinyatakan darurat yang berbahaya. Upaya perusahaan untuk bertahan dan mampu melewati panemi adalah meningkatkan inovasi kerja karyawan meskipun relatif sulit akibat adanya kondisi yang dirasakan karyawan sebagai ancaman. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara job insecurity dengan innovative behavior. Instrumen penelitian digunakan skala model likert yang didistribusikan pada 106 karyawan melalui teknik total population study. Analisis pengujian hipotesis melalui rumus korelasi product moment Pearson, diperoleh nilai rxy =-0,358 dan p=0,000 (p<0,01), yang membuktikan ada hubungan negatif sangat signifikan antara job insecurity dengan innovative behavior. Nilai probabilitas tersebut menjelaskan bilamana job insecurity menurun maka inovative behavior karyawan meningkat, dan sebaliknya apabila keadaan job insecurity karyawan meningkat maka inovative behavior dalam bekerja akan menurun. Nilai koefisien determinasi dalam penelitian ini relatif kecil, yang diketahui job insecurity memberikan sumbangan efektif terhadap innovative behavior sebesar 12,7% yang dapat diartikan bahwa banyak faktor yang memiliki korelasi dengan innovative behavior, yang disarankan dapat diuji kembali melalui variabel dukungan rekan kerja dan lingkungan kerja.
