Abstract

The aim of the study was to know the relation between emotional maturity and aggressiveness on football supporters. This study was used quantitative research method. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique with 145 people as samples. The instrument in this study uses an emotional maturity scale that has been tested for validity to 43 items with a reliability coefficient of 0.947 and an aggressive scale that has been tested for validity to be 40 items with a reliability coefficient of 0.958. Data analysis using spearman correlation. The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of -0,661 (r = -0,661) with a significance level of 0,000 (p = 0,000) so Ha was accepted whose meaning there was a relationship between emotional maturity and aggressiveness on ball fans with a negative relationship between the two variables. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the higher the emotional maturity of a person, the lower the aggressive behavior, and vice versa.
