Abstract
UD. ArshaIndo started operating in 2010, with milkfish brains as the first product to be produced. Then the product continues to experience innovation into presto milkfish, boneless milkfish, smoked milkfish without spines and spiced milkfish without spines. Initial production is still taking place in semi- permanent buildings by relying on marketing from home agents, cooperation with several restaurants and traveling with the help of motorbikes. The existence of marketing and production which is still sober has caused many problems to occur, both in terms of marketing itself and finances. Then in mid-2012 a permanent production site was built with hygiene aspects in mind. The market has also changed with independent sales through the development of souvenir center outlets in the Gresik and Mojokerto areas. Business is also growing on demand from several frozen food shops and gift shops. Supplier selection is one of the important things in purchasing activities for companies. Supplier selection is a multi-criteria problem which includes both quantitative and qualitative factors. UD. Arshaindo experienced a production bottleneck due to a lack of raw materials and buying from middlemen at relatively high prices, which resulted in a product decline, the company lacked selection of suppliers and provided criteria in terms of purchasing incoming milkfish raw materials. One way that can be used for supplier selection is to analyze the lack of raw materials and then add more suppliers. Based on the results of the analysis above, the most influential criteria in the selection of milkfish suppliers at UD. Arshaindo is the price criteria. The next criterion that has an effect is the delivery accuracy criteria, quality criteria, and quantity accuracy criteria. The advice that can be given is if the company does not want a shortage of raw materials, namely adding suppliers because the two suppliers who have worked with this company have reached maximum capacity. Companies are prioritized to choose supplier B as a supplier of milkfish for the company because supplier B is the supplier that has the highest overall value. With this partnership relationship, supplier performance between the supplier and the company will be better and can expedite the overall production completion target.
