Abstract
The feasibility of news in online media is also inseparable from the value in a news story, the value of news is a factual event or information that is conveyed by journalists through the media. However, some media sometimes pay attention to the news content from reality, this is the author's consideration for conducting research related to news framing on Puan Maharani's statement about a female president in the year 2024. This research approach uses the Framing model analysis method by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. Pan and Kosicki's model analysis shows that there are four structural dimensions of the Framing approach: syntactic structure, script structure, thematic structure, and rhetorical structure. Media Kompas.com in presenting news related to Puan Maharani seems to only focus on Puan Maharani in presenting the news. This is the basis that the position of the media strengthens the process of viewing news. News as a form of public consumption is utilized by the media not only to facilitate various interest groups, but also as a tool to produce dominant ideology. On the other hand, the Suara.com media in reporting about Puan Maharani from a two-sided perspective will indirectly provide facts regarding the events in the news. This fact should be a journalist's perspective in meeting public needs. The dominant media ideology will produce something different in a report. It is clear that journalists are not a neutral social group, but an interest group that works for certain groups. Thus, the news reports the facts with the views of journalists. It is clear that today's media is no longer a neutral tool, but a subjective group that facilitates certain groups and dominant ideologies to appear in the news.
