Abstract
UD. Bangkit Bersama is a company engaged in the manufacturing sector. A significant increase in the number of requests forces companies to be able to compete with other companies. This company experienced several periods of not being able to meet demand targets. With the existence of a problem, namely the imbalance of workload on each part of the worker which can be seen from the workforce doing 2 jobs such as welding and assembly which can result in production being hampered or piled up, as well as less optimal in fulfilling production, the researcher will measure the workload and determine number of workers to meet demand. This type of research uses the work sampling method and the cardiovascular load (CVL) method to determine the physical workload and the number of workers. The result of using the work sampling method is to get the standard time for each part of production taking into account the performance rating and the Allomance value. While the cardiovascular load method produces a physical workload for each part of the workforce that has a moderate workload value category. The highest physical workload value was in the welding section (operator 1) of 52 percent and the lowest physical workload value was in the lathe (operator 2) section of 41 percent. Then in the workload analysis method, there are parts of welding 1, welding 2, welding 3, lathe 2 which increases by 1 worker and in lathe machine 2 which increases by 2 workers. From these results the workforce at UD. Bangkit Bersama, which originally consisted of 11 people after calculating using workload analysis, found 22 workers.
