Abstract

Abstrak Teknologi yang semakin canggih di Indonesia pada saat ini menciptakan kemajuan pada berbagai bidang, khususnya bidang teknologi dan informasi. Sejalan dengan kemajuan tersebut maka banyak produk yang dihasilkan, salah satu diantaranya adalah media visual yaitu televisi. Anak-anak sebagai pemirsa televisi tentu saja menjadi bagian yang paling penting untuk diawasi dalam pemilihan tontonan karena anak-anak masih sangat rentan untuk meniru hal-hal apa saja yang telah dilihatnya. Jadi dengan jelas peran orang tua sangat besar dalam mengawasi tontonan apa saja yang layak dilihat oleh anak-anak sehingga orang tua harus lebih selektif dalam hal tersebut.Tayangan animasi Boboiboy merupakan tayangan kartun anak-anak yang berasal dari negara Malaysia yang diproduksi oleh Animonsta Studios dengan genre aksi, komedi,dan petualangan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif eksplanatif. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma positivistik. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan langsung kepada 30 orang sebagai sampel dari 361 populasi murid SDN Bangah Sidoarjo. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tayangan animasi Boboiboy memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penggunaan bahasa Melayu pada murid SDN Bangah Sidoarjo. Hasil ini dilihat melalui analisis regresi yang diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar 1.034 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan dengan hasil uji validitas, bahwa masing-masing butir instrumen (r hitung) pada kolom Corrected Item-Total Correlation bernilai lebih besar dari r tabel sebesar 0,349. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa keseluruhan butir instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dinyatakan valid. In line with this progress, many products have been produced, one of which is visual media, namely television. Children as television viewers are of course the most important part to supervise in selecting shows because children are still very vulnerable to imitating what they have seen. So it is clear that the role of parents is very large in supervising what shows are appropriate for children to watch, so parents must be more selective in this regard. Boboiboy animation shows are children's cartoon shows originating from Malaysia produced by Animonsta Studios with action, comedy, and adventure genres. This research includes explanative quantitative research. This research approach uses a positivistic paradigm. This data collection technique used a questionnaire which was distributed directly to 30 people as a sample of the 361 student population at SDN Bangah Sidoarjo.The results of the research analysis show that the Boboiboy animation show has a positive and significant influence on the use of Malay by students at Bangah Sidoarjo Elementary School. These results were seen through regression analysis which obtained a coefficient value of 1,034 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and with the results of the validity test, that each instrument item (r count) in the Corrected Item-Total Correlation column is worth greater than r table of 0.349.
