Abstract

Along with advances in science and technology that are all digital, such as the current use of electronic technology as a learning medium is progress in the world of education. In Permendikbud 2014 number 119 PJJ has the characteristics of being open, independent learning, thorough learning, using educational information and communication technology, and/or using other educational technologies. E-learning is one example of learning medium that uses electronic technology. However, not all schools use e-learning as a learning medium. Most schools, one of which is SMA Cendekia Sidoarjo, still use conventional learning methods. Obstacles encountered in conventional learning are delays in delivering material from teachers to students and the absence of teachers and students during the learning process which makes learning activities not run optimally. The purpose of this research is to develop an e-learning information system and analyze the impact of implementation e-learning at SMA Cendekia Sidoarjo. The analysis and design of this website uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) diagrams with the waterfall model, and blackbox testing. Implementation impact analysis uses the concept of Miles and Huberman. The results of this research are an information system e-learning website based which is expected to be a supporting tool that helps and facilitates schools in carrying out academic activities during the learning process.
