Abstract
PT E-T-A Indonesia is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry that produces circuit breakers for equipment (CBE) which are used as equipment safety components that have the role of breaking excess electric current. PT E-T-A Indonesia produces various types of CBE, one of which is type 2216 which functions as an electric circuit breaker for telecommunication panels. However, in the production process, the type 2216 assembly often experiences errors caused by labor negligence. In this study, the Work Load Analysis (WLA) method was used to solve the problems in the 2216 assembly. The results of the calculation using the Work Load Analysis (WLA) method showed that workstation 2 has an excessive workload compared to other workstations. After calculating to optimize the number of existing workers, the results obtained a fixed number of workers in assembly 2216 but there are additions and reductions in the number of workers at workstations 2 and 3. At workstation 2, 1 worker was added, while at workstation 3 1 worker was reduced. This means that one of the workers at workstation 3 is allocated to workstation 2. This aims to reduce the workload at workstation 2 so as to minimize the frequent negligence of workers at workstation 2. Keywords : Work Load Analysis (WLA), CBE, labor negligence.
