Abstract

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Indonesian economy was significantly affected. The economy in the city of Surabaya is recorded that in 2020 it contracted -4.85%, then jumped to 4.29% in 2021. The poverty in Surabaya in 2021 was recorded at 5.23% or 152,489 people, increasing from 2020 which was only 5.02 %. As a result, household consumption, which is the main pillar of the economy, slowed down significantly and affected various performance sectors. Public financial welfare is important for the government in helping accelerate economic recovery. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial management proxied on financial literacy, financial awareness, income, financial behavior, financial inclusion on financial well-being in families in Surabaya. This study used quantitative method with simple random sampling technique. This study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis that is used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that financial literacy has a significant and positive effect on financial behavior, financial literacy has a significant and positive effect on financial inclusion, financial literacy has no significant effect on financial well-being, financial awareness has no significant effect on financial behavior, financial awareness has a significant and positive effect on inclusion finance, financial awareness has no significant effect on financial well-being, income has a significant and positive effect on financial behavior, income has a significant and positive effect on financial inclusion, income has no significant effect on financial well-being. Furthermore, financial behavior mediates income on financial well-being. whereas financial behavior cannot mediate the effect of financial literacy and financial awareness on financial well-being. And financial inclusion cannot mediate the effect of financial literacy, financial awareness, or income on financial well-being.
