Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan dunia industri di dunia khususnya di Indonesia yang semakin canggih, kebutuhan akan bahan baku juga semakin meningkat. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan aluminium dengan titanium dengan metode metalurgi serbuk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami dan mengetahui pembuatan komposit yang dipelajari pada Aluminium Murni dengan campuran unsur Ti 14% dalam tabung reaksi. Pada tekanan pemadatan 5.000, 5.500, 6.000, 6.500 dan 7.000 Psi dengan waktu penahanan 10 menit. Untuk suhu sintering 450°C dan 500 °C dengan waktu tunggu sintering 90 menit. Pengujian yang digunakan adalah uji densitas, uji kekerasan Rockwell B dan uji struktur mikro. Dari hasil penelitian, semakin besar pemadatan yang diberikan maka nilai densitasnya juga semakin tinggi, seperti pada pemadatan 7000 dengan suhu 450°C. Kemudian pada pengamatan struktur mikro ini, pemadatan dan temperatur sintering sangat mempengaruhi sifat fisik benda uji. Karena suhu sintering juga mempengaruhi sifat fisik spesimen. Dan semakin tinggi temperatur yang diberikan maka semakin rendah nilai kekerasan yang dihasilkan, seperti paduan Al�Ti pada pemadatan 7000 dengan temperatur 450 ℃
