Abstract

HR management has an important role to achieve the best performance for the company and employees. If the management is good and the performance of the employees is also good, the company's goals will be achieved because employees are a very valuable asset in achieving company goals. Employee performance is the result of work achieved by an employee in carrying out their duties, both in quantity and quality in accordance with the duties or responsibilities assigned to them. This study intends to determine the effect of work discipline, compensation and work environment on the performance of employees of PT. Pos Indonesia Surabaya Main Branch for the January-November 2021 period. This research uses a quantitative method. The population in this study were 133 people and the sample for this study was 100 people. The sampling technique used the Simple Random Sampling technique. In collecting data using the help of a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS 26 program and Microsoft Excel 2013.The results of testing the hypothesis show that the work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work environment variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The variables of work discipline, compensation and work environment simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance.
