Abstract

Semakin banyaknya jumlah kendaraan semi Autonomous yang berada di jalanan Indonesia, ditambah belum adanya sebuah aturan hukum yang mengatur tentang legalitas kendaraan tersebut, menimbulkan sebuah problematika hukum baru. Oleh sebab itu dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk perlindungan hukum yang didapat konsumen pengguna mobil semi Autonomous dan upaya hukum yang dapat dilakukan oleh pengguna mobil semi Autonomous. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yakni a) apa bentuk perlindungan hukum bagi konsumen yang mengalami kecelakaan akibat gagal sistem semi Autonomous. dan .b). upaya hukum apa yang dapat dilakukan konsumen apabila terjadi kecelakaan yang disebabkan gagalnya sistem semi Autonomous. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian normatif dengan metode pendekatan Perundang-Undangan. adapun hasil pada penelitian ini yakni produsen berhak memberikan kompensasi kepada konsumen dan konsumen dapat mengajukan gugatan ke Lembaga BPSK apabila merasa dirugikan akibat adanya fitur semi Autonomous pada mobilnya
