Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecenderungan pola asuh otoriter dengan agresivitas pada remaja Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuisoner, yang didalamnya terdiri dari 2 (dua) Variabel, yaitu variabel pola asuh otoriter (X) dan variabel agresivitas (Y). Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Nusa Tenggara Timur yang berdomisili di Surabaya sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik non probability sampling yaitu teknik yang digunakan pada saat sejumlah populasi yang akan diteliti tidak dapat diketahui secara pasti. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan teknik korelasi prodact moment menunjukan hasil analisis data diperoleh skor korelasi sebesar 0,686 dengan signifikan p = 0,001. Artinya terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pola asuh otoriter dengan agresivitas. Adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi pola asuh otoriter maka semakin tinggi agresivitas pada remaja Nusa Tenggara Timur. Kata Kunci : pola asuh otoriter, agresivitas, dan remaja Nusa Tenggara Timur.
