Abstract
This study examines the meaning of the film about the moral message in the film "Kukira Kau Rumah". The method used in this study is a qualitative method with Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic analysis, specifically the signifier and the signified. The film "Kukira Kau Rumah" was directed by Umay Shahab. This film is considered to have a meaningful message contained in it, the message contained in this film is a moral message. This drama film tells the story of a young woman who has bipolar disorder and is restricted from socializing by her parents, but the young woman doesn’t give up on getting what she wants. The findings through the documentation and observation of this film which are divided into scenes or scenes found several moral messages about life. One of them, let us not control other people's lives too much. Because everyone has their own dreams and goals, and it takes hard work and perseverance to achieve what they want. The moral message is don't control other people's lives too much, give others the freedom to choose their way of life. This moral message really has a big impact in this film, because it can have an impact on a person's mentality without realizing it. Keywords: Semiotics, Moral Message, Signifier, Signified
