Abstract
Teenagers who play online games are often faced with verbal aggressiveness problems. It does not rule out that the existence of a low religiosity factor can lead to verbal aggressiveness. It does not rule out that the existence of a low religiosity factor can lead to verbal aggressiveness. Besides religiosity can directly influence verbal aggressiveness, emotional regulation can be an indirect effect or mediator of verbal aggressiveness in adolescents who play online games. This research method was carried out using quantitative methods with accidental sampling analysis techniques. This research was conducted in coffee shops around Surabaya, Gresik and Sidoarjo. The research was conducted by discord as a communication tool for playing online games, based on the criteria of teenagers who play online games aged 12-21 years. Based on the results of mediation analysis and product moment calculations, on the scale of religiosity and verbal aggressiveness with emotion regulation as a mediator variable, the Z-Value result is -2.836 with a significant value of 0.005 (<0.05) and on the scale of religiosity with verbal aggressiveness, the Pearson correlation value is -0.368 with a significant value of -0.368. This means that there is a direct and indirect relationship between religiosity and verbal aggressiveness. Keywords : Religiosity, Emotion Regulation, Verbal Aggressiveness, Adult, Online Game
