Abstract

One of the learning models in the independent era of learning is Project Based Learning (PjBL), which focuses on projects and actively involves students. Cross-interest learning needs to be watched out for, especially with the large number of courseloads given by students so that they feel bored. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PjBL on Physics Subjects in the Social Sciences Department on learning saturationof high school students in the Merdeka Learning era. This research is an experimental study of Posttest Only Design with PjBL as the independent variable and the dependent variable is Learning Plateau. The population in this study were 4 class XI IPS with a total of 124 students. Sampling by cluster random sampling, the sample amounted to 62 students. The instrument used is the learning saturation scale. Hypothesis Test Results obtained t = 1.956 (p <0.05). This finding shows that there is a significant difference in Learning Plateau between the experimental group and the control group. It has a coefficient of determination of 0.0599, meaning that the influence of the PjBL Modelon the Learning Plateau is 5.99% while the rest is influenced by other variables. The Learning Plateau of the Experimental Group was lower (Mean = 103.69) than the Learning Plateau of the control group (Mean = 111.53). This shows that the research hypothesis which states that the Learning Plateau of the experimental group is lower than the controlgroup is proven/accepted. Mann Whitney U Test, Z = 2.899 (p<0.05). This finding shows that there is a significant difference in learning achievement in Physics between the experimental group and the control group. Physics value of the experimental group (Mean = 73.13) washigher than the control group (Mean = 61.33). This means that the PjBL model learning has an effect on students' learning achievement in Physics.
