Abstract
The Smart Indonesia Program Policy (PIP) is a program that aims to help poor students get a proper education, prevent children from dropping out of school and to meet their school needs such as transportation costs to school, school supplies, pocket money as well as training or course fees. The purpose of this study was to determine the evaluation of PIP in high school in Amuntai Tengah District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency and to determine the inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research was carried out at SMKN 1 Amuntai and SMAN 1 Amuntai, Central Amuntai District. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data uses primary data, secondary data and tertiary data. The number of informants in this study amounted to 11 people. Methods of data collection by observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The evaluation model used is the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process and Product). The results showed that there was no PIP team that was specifically formed by the education unit, the accuracy of the targeting of PIP recipients was considered to be still not correct because the DTKS data that became the data for determining students who deserved to get PIP was not yet accurate so that additional, more structured selection was needed such as verifying the condition of students. actually in the field. Supervision is still weak on the use of PIP assistance funds by students, so efforts are needed from the school and parents to cooperate in supervision. The impact of PIP in high school has not really led to access to PIP for Higher Education, therefore there is a need for socialization and motivation for students to continue their education to college with the scholarship.
