Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which lasted more than two years, had an impact on all sectors of life, including the industrial sector. Employees who are required to continue to work optimally even in the midst of a pandemic are required to still have good performance. However, uncertain exposure to pandemics can lead employees to experience pandemic burnout. Several factors that can affect pandemic burnout include optimism and hardiness personality. Subjects in this study amounted to 100 employees. The research data was obtained through google form with a scale of pandemic burnout, optimism and hardiness which had fulfilled the item discrimination index and reliability index requirements. The data analysis technique used the MRA (Moderating Regression Analysis) method. As a result, Hardines personality moderated the relationship between optimism and pan-demic burnout with an F value of 0.00<0.05 and the results of MRA analysis showed a significance of 0.041<0.05. Hardines personality is a moderator variable with a quasi moderator type. Keywords: Optimism, Hardiness, Pandemic Burnout
