Abstract
Research on distribution transformers needs to be known so that the installed load does not exceed or overload the transformer capacity. This is very influential on the reliability of the transformer in distributing electrical energy to the load. Therefore, in the calculation of the distribution transformer that has been loaded, it is necessary to pay attention to the derating that occurs in the transformer, analysis of the percentage of loading, load imbalance, losses due to the neutral current in the transformer, and the efficiency of the transformer. The value obtained in the transformer calculation regarding the derating that occurs in the transformer is 0.072kW, the highest percentage of loading occurs on the first day of 31% while the results of the lowest on the second and third days are 26% (peak load). From the results of the highest imbalance of 10% on the third day, while the lowest results of 3% on the first day. From the results of losses, the highest neutral current was 0.26% on the third day while the lowest was 0.10% on the second day. And finally, the result of the highest transformer efficiency is 99.89% on the second day while the lowest is 99.73% on the fourth day. So from this calculation the transformer loading can be said to be still underloaded from the loading range and can be added to the load on the transformer used for 611.88A Keywords : Derating, Percentage Loading, Transformer Neutral Conductor Losses, Transformer Efficiency.
