Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organization identification and internalization at work on voluntary involved in work, loyalty and its impact on employee job performance in sea transportation in South Sulawesi. The study population was 374 employees in the marine transportation office in South Sulawesi. Using the Slovin formula with a tolerance of 5%, the sample size is 194 respondents. Model testing with Generalized Least Square Estimation (GLS), structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis. The test results show the model (fit) can be seen from the values of GFI, AGFI, TLI, CFI, RMSEA and CMIN / DF, which are respectively 0.927, 0.913, 0.953, 0.957, 0.078 and 1.998, all of which are in the expected value range so that the model can received. The results showed that: 1). Organization Identification has a significant effect on Voluntary Involved In Work. 2). Internalization at Work has a significant effect on Employee Loyalty and Employee Job Performance. 3). Voluntary Involved In Work has no significant effect on Employee Loyalty, and has a significant effect on Employee Job Performance. 4). Employee Loyalty has a significant effect on Employee Job Performance. Given that the voluntary variable involved in work has not yet played a role in employee loyalty, it is recommended that management always increase the feeling of volunteering to be involved in employee work by more intensively carrying out tasks, and giving their time without expecting anything in return. Employees are not selfish, and perform their duties for the common interest. Likes to provide assistance to others who need help. Thus it is expected that the feeling of volunteering to be involved in employee work will increase, which in turn will have an impact on increasing employee loyalty. Suggestions for the next researchers need to do an increase in the scope of research, taking into account the individual characteristics of employees, so that a clearer picture of the performance of employees in the marine transportation office in South Sulawesi is obtained. Future studies are also suggested to further investigate the effect of internalization at work and organization identification on voluntary involved in work, loyalty and its impact on employee job performance in transportation, by adding other variables and indicators that have not been included in this study.
