Abstract

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental disorder in a person after going through a series of events that threaten, or are unpleasant for him. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD can be experienced at any age, starting after the first year of birth. Symptoms usually begin to appear between the first three months after trauma, although there may also be a lag of months, or perhaps years, before the criteria for a PTSD diagnosis are met. The method used to reduce Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a psychodrama that plays a role in the past and the future. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of psychodrama to reduce Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in adolescent girls who experienced emotional abuse in early marriage with the merariq tradition. This research is a quasi-experimental study - with a one group pre test - post test design. The results of data analysis using the Paired Sample T - test showed a result of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there was a difference in the PTSD reduction score in the subjects seen from the pretest-posttest results. Key research results that the psychodrama method is effective in reducing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in adolescent girls who experience emotional violence in early marriage with the merariq tradition.
