Abstract
In general, women who work in the cosmetic field must have high self-confidence. One of the women who works in the cosmetic sector is sales promotion girls or SPG. Having an attractive appearance by having a physical shape that suits them will trigger them to have high self-confidence. As a Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) having high self-confidence is very necessary, because SPGs who have high self-confidence are aware of and appreciate their potential so that SPG in working passionately as a communicator in promoting goods or products offered to someone can influence that person. through his charisma because of his attractive appearance. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-confidence and the tendency of narcissistic behavior in women who work in the cosmetic field. The subjects in this study involved 97 women who work in the cosmetic sector. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a quantitative research design. Hypothesis testing using the Spearmans Rho correlation test got a value of 0.457 with a significance of p = 0.000 (P < 0.01) indicating that there is a significant positive relationship between self-confidence and the tendency of narcissistic behavior in Anita who works in the cosmetic sector. So that it can be interpreted that the higher a person's self-confidence, the higher the tendency of narcissistic behavior in women who work in the cosmetic field. And vice versa, the lower a person's self-confidence, the lower the tendency of narcissistic behavior in women who work in the cosmetic field. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. Keywords: Narcissistic Behavior Tendency, Self Confidence.
