Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan unutk mengetahui hubungan antara Body Image dengan kepercayaan diri pada penyandang tunarungu. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara body image dengan kepercayaan diri pada penyandang tunarungu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja penyandang tunarungu yang bersekolah di SLB. Subjck dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja penyandang tunarungu dengan studi populasi dimana subjek tersebar di SMALB-B Karya Mulia Surabaya dan SLB Muhamadiyah Sidayu Gresik yang berjumlah 40 orang. A lat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel Body image dan kepercayaan diri. Data yang telah diperoleh dianalisis mengunakan korelas1 Spearnman Runk dan diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel Body Image berkorelasi positif sangat signifikan dengan variabel kepercayaan diri pada penyandang tunarungu. Hal ni ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi pada hasil uji korelasi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,01) sehingga hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima.
