Abstract

Information technology is widely used in a company, agency and organization. This is because of its very helpful role in completing tasks such as calculations, bookkeeping, file management, report generation and recording the history of each process that takes place. Dealing with the problems of all employee performance activities. To improve performance in terms of service to consumers in stores. It takes a computerized-based system to overcome the existing problems. Based on the results of interviews with employees, currently employees at the Tanto Sport store are for goods management and still use stationery. Employees record all data of goods in and out and also finances using books and pens. However, as time goes by, store employees complain that in the current era of technological progress, they still use stationery, even though there are many features when using applications or websites to manage goods, namely Point of Sale. This problem has an impact on communication and information between Tanto Sport and its suppliers.. This research was conducted to design a website-based Point of Sale application that is able to improve the quality of employee performance by improving communication and information between employees at the Tanto Sport store. The method implemented to design this application is the Supply Chain Management (SCM) method. SCM is a process used to achieve effective and efficient integration of suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and customers. SCM has an important role in improving the quality of the company's services to customers. SCM does not only involve suppliers and manufacturers, but also involves several parties, such as customers and retailers. Kata Kunci : Supply Chain Management, Website, Tanto Sport, Point Of Sale.
