Abstract

Sistem kewaspadaan akan banjir dari luapan sungai saat ini belum bisa bekerja dengan otomatis dan realtime untuk mengetahui ketinggian permukaan air sungai. Hal tersebut menyebabkan warga sekitar rata-rata tidak mengetahui saat permukaan sungai akan meluap. Pada penelitian ini dirancang system deteksi banjir yang bekerja secara otomatis dengan cara mengetahui ketinggian (level) permukaan air sungai. Sistem pemantau ketinggian permukaan air ini dilakukan dengan mengimplementasikan sensor ultrasonic berbasis mikrokontroler, yang akan mengetahui ketinggian permukaan air yang dibuat pada level-level tertentu. Hasil uji rancang bangun system ini memiliki keakurasian pada sensor ultrasonic yang menghasilkan tingkat rata-rata error sebesar 1,121% dan tingkat kesalahan terhadap perubahan kecepatan ketinggian air pada waktu tertentu sebesar 1 cm. (The flood alert system from overflowing rivers is currently unable to work automatically and in real time to determine the water level of the river. This causes residents around the average do not know when the surface of the river will overflow. In this study, a flood detection system was designed that works automatically by knowing the water level of the river. This water level monitoring system is carried out by implementing a microcontroller-based ultrasonic sensor, which will determine the water level created at certain levels. The results of the design test of this system have an ultrasonic sensor accuracy which produces an average error rate of 1.121% and the error rate for changes in water level velocity at a certain time is 1 cm.
