Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, work discipline, and work environment on employee performance. This study uses an exploratory type of research that explains the causal relationship (clause). The population in this study was 51 people using a saturated sampling technique, namely all 51 employees. The data collection carried out by this study was the distribution of questionnaires with a total sample of 51 respondents. The data analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, and coefficient of determination. The hypothesis test used is multiple linear regression in the form of F test and t test. This research was conducted in the city of Surabaya with a research sample of the Surabaya Taruna Islamic Education Foundation. The method of data analysis in this study is multiple linear regression analysis processed with SPSS version 26. From the multiple linear regression model used in this study, the regression equation Y = 3.181 + 0.941 X1 + 0.173 X2 + 0.559 X3 = e. The results of the study prove that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The value of the coefficient of determination (R2 ) in this study is 0.839, which is greater than 0.05. For motivation, work discipline, and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
