Abstract

Management of letters in agencies/offices that still use the manual method often results in errors in archiving mail data and searching for letters. This web- based application of incoming and outgoing mail is very necessary, besides being used for mail management, it is also needed to archive incoming and outgoing letters to make it more efficient and neat in storage. This web-based application of incoming and outgoing mail aims to change the way in which letters are stored in hardfiles into a web-based softfile mail archive. This web-based application of incoming and outgoing mail makes a good contribution to agencies/offices. At the design stage used include designing diagrams, data flow diagrams, erd, and database tables. The software used in making this letter archiving application uses xampp to run the web server and MySQL for database management. The implementation of this web-based application for archiving incoming and outgoing mail displays an interface, namely: the admin interface and the verifier interface. This web-based incoming and outgoing mail application can archive outgoing mail more neatly and efficiently, entering data for incoming and outgoing mail can provide a means of storing mail archives, so that they can be managed properly. This mail archiving application can be accessed and run on localhost.
