Abstract

In industry, especially in the field of household appliance production, plastic materials are very often found in the industry where plastic has a number of advantages in various properties, which is the main factor why plastic products are very popular to be produced, the purposes of this research are to get ; 1) knowing the effect of melting temperature and barrel pressure and cooling time on the production cycle time and product weight of polypropylene (PP) plastic products with the injection molding production process 2) Knowing the factors that play a role in influencing product weight and plastic production cycle time (PP) 3) Knowing the analysis for the temperature, pressure and cooling time of the Injection Molding Process with PP material using the Chen Hsong Injection molding machine, temperature variations of 200 0C, 2100C, 2200C and pressures of 175 bar, 160 bar and 145 bar and 130 bar are used and cooling time 0 seconds, 1 second , 2 seconds. The results obtained in this study are plastic products that meet production standards and obtain optimal values at a temperature of 210 °C, pressure of 145 bar, cooling time of 1s, get a product mass of 35.2 gr with the optimal cycle time of 8 s.
