Abstract

Technological advances in this modern era have developed very rapidly, one example is information systems. Information systems supported by web-based technology are the main point for improving information facilities. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which run their business in the field of selling hats in Kampoeng Topi Punggul, Punggul Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency, in marketing their products still only revolve around Gedangan District and Sidoarjo City and of course the products demanded are relatively small. The purpose of this study is to reduce customer doubts to buy hat products because they cannot know the details of the fabric and embroidery on the hat before buying. The request for sample submission feature can be used as a solution. Its use in this information system is to make it easier for customers to buy hats. Customers can know in advance the structure of the hat fabric and embroidery before buying, so that customers don't have to doubt the quality of the hat.. In this study, the method used is the Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. The SDLC Waterfall method includes a process of creating and changing the system. The results of this study are expected to help people who are running their businesses so that they can more easily coordinate or monitor their sales. In addition, it can also improve the economy of hat SMEs in Indonesia.
