Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove and analyze the effect of individual characteristics on role conflict. The influence of individual characteristics on employee performance. The influence of competence on role conflict. The influence of competence on employee performance. The influence of organizational climate on role conflict. The influence of organizational climate on employee performance. The effect of role conflict on employee performance. The effect of role conflict on employee performance is moderated by mentoring. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were 155 employees of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. The data source used is primary data in the form of questionnaire answers. In this study, data processing and analysis were carried out using AMOS version 20. The results of this study indicate that: 1. Individual characteristics have no significant effect on the role conflict of employees of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. 2. Individual characteristics have a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. 3. Competence has no significant effect on the role conflict of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. 4. Competence has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. 5. Organizational climate has a significant effect on the role conflict of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. 6. Organizational climate has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. 7. Role conflict has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province. 8. Mentoring strengthens the influence of role conflict on employee performance.
