Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationshipbetween family harmony and adolescent self-confidence. The method used in this study uses a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires, in which it consists of 2 (two) variables, namely the self-confidence variable. (Y) and the Family Harmony variable (X). The respondents in this study were teenagers in Sidoarjo Regency. The sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling , namely taking samples that meet predetermined prerequisites and also coincidentally found.Based on calculations using the Pearson product moment score Pearson Correlationof 0.800 with a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05) indicates a significant positive relationship between the two variables. That is, the higher the family harmony, the higher the adolescent selfconfidence, so the research hypothesis "there is a positive relationship between family harmony and adolescent self-confidence" can be accepted.
