Abstract

Covid-19 has caused many changes in Indonesia, including changes in economic conditions and also changes in education patterns. The government made a policy in the form of a decision to change the face-to-face0learning system in the classroom to online learning. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotion regulation and zoom fatigue in college students. This research was conducted at the University of August 17, 1945 Surabaya using correlational quantitative methods. The subjects in this study were active students in the even semester 2021/2022, totaling 242 students. The sampling technique in this study used stratified proportional sampling technique. The measuring instrument used in this study is the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) adapted from Gross and John (2003) by (Suhadianto et al., 2021) and the zoom fatigue scale made by the researcher himself referring to the theory from (Fauville et al., 2021). Based on the results of data analysis using Pearson's Product Moment, the score is less than 0.05 (p <0.05). This means that there is a negative relationship between emotion regulation and zoom fatigue in college students. Keywords: covid-19; university students; emotion regulation; zoom fatigue
