Abstract

The aim of this research is discussing the relation between dzikrullah intensity and prosocial activity with life meaning of the scholars of kalong in Darur Rohman Sendangagung dormitory, Lamongan. This research uses quantitative method. Research variables are measured by using the scale of life meaning, dzikrullah intensity, and prosocial activity. The subject of this research are 60 scolars of kalong in Darur Rohman dormitory. The gotten data is analyzed by using double regression analysis. The result of this analysis shows that dzikrullah intensity variable and prosocial activity variable are related very significantly with the life meaning (F = 5,510 on p = 0,006). Separately, dzikrullah intensity has a very significant positive relation with life meaning (t = 3,256 on p = 0,002). Prosocial activity has non relation with life meaning (t = -0,087 on p = 0,931). The findings are expected to be a reference to education, especially pesantren.
