Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-adjustment and effective communication with anxiety in stundents who take the MBKM curriculum. The research is a type of quantitative research using correlational research. The subject in the this study were 111 students who took the MBKM curriculum, Faculty of Psychology, University of 17 August 1945, Surabaya, which were selected through random sampling technique. The method of data collection is done through the distribution of online quesionnaires using google form with a Likert scale. Multiple regression analysis technique. The result showed that there was a correlation score of 0.007 with p = 0.000 (p <0.01), meaning that there was a significant relationship between self-adjusment and effective communication with anxiety. Meanwhile, the correlation score is -0.432 with p =0.00 (p <0.05), meaning that there is a negative and significant relationship between self- adjustment and anxiety. And obtained a correlation score of -0.081 with p = 0.407 (p <0.05) which means that there is a negative and significant relationship between effective communication and anxiety. The higher the self-adjustment and the effective communication made by students. The higher the self-adjustment and the effective communication made by students, the lower the anxiety experienced by students. The effective contribution in this study was 0.490, meaning that self-adjustment and effective communication had a 49% effect on anxiety.
