Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between social support and self efficacy toward anxiety of government school teachers in Surabaya. Subjects in this study were 100 teachers in the age beetween 55 and 60 years old, has partner, status as goverment employer in Surabaya. The results of regression analysis showed that the value of F = 6.496 Sig (p) = 0.02 (p <0.05), which means that there is a significant relationship between social support and self efficacy toward anxiety facing retirement ; no relationship between social support and anxiety facing retirement (t = 0.053; partial r = 0.005, p = 0.958, p> 0.05) and there was a negative relationship between self-efficacy with the anxiety facing retirement (t = 2.433, r partial = - 0.240, p = 0.017, p <0.05)
