Abstract

Abstract : This study ia Aimee to find out how the relationship between the attitude toward parent's concern with the tendencies of sibling rivalry ini the teenagers. Population of the study are the teenagers that lived in the Sambil Arum Lor street RW 06, Surabaya. Beside, the sample that is used on this study are 100 responden. Who have the Characteristics of teenagers between 12 until 15 years old that have sibling and lived in the Sambil Arum street RW 06 Surabaya. The data analytical technique used is a product moment corelation where reseacher the wants to know the relationship between the variables of attitude toward parent’s concern with the sibling rivalry. The result of research using product moment analysis shows that there is a negative and very significant relationship between attitudes toward the attention of parents with the tendency of sibling rivalry behavior in adolescent. Thus, the hypothesis that states that there is a relationship between attitudes toward the attention of parents with the tendency of sibling rivalry behavior in adolescents can be accepted.
