Abstract
Workloads loaded on workers occur in 3 conditions , namely normal workload , excess workload and workload that is too low . PT EFG is a company engaged in cosmetics . This research was conducted in the production packaging division of the packaging of the packaging material warehouse section which has 4 workers in it there is only 1 shift of work with a working length of 8 hours . The target that must be achieved per day is to carry out demolition to meet the supply of production packaging machines . With the enactment of these 4 workers , the workload of the workers will be less than optimal . The method used in this study is Work Load Analysis ( WLA ) . Work Load Analysis ( WLA ) method is the process of calculating the workload of a position , the need for the amount of labor to fill the position . The results of the workload calculation were obtained that the workload received by the liquid packaging division of the packaging material warehouse section above , is a recommendation proposed given related to the above conditions is to hire 4 workers and analyze the improvement of the work system in the packaging material warehouse to be more effective and efficient after processing existing data Ideally using a workforce of 3 people . If viewed from a cost perspective , it is also more efficient to use 3 workers with the 1 hour Overtime option , which saves more on company costs . Not optimally the energy that is issued with a workforce of 4 people because of the frequent occurrence of loose time. Keywords : Efficient , Number of workers , Work Load Analysis ( WLA )
