Abstract

PT. Benteng Api Technic or BAT Refractories is a company engaged in the manufacturing industry for the manufacture of fire bricks and fire-resistant cement located in Gresik. PT. BAT has several plants, namely the crushing plant and production plant as well as the main warehouse and equipment workshop. PT BAT, especially in the crushing plant, has problems in the form of frequent damage to the production machine, namely the stone crusher machine. This problem causes a decrease in the output produced during production so that there is a loss for the company. The maintenance step that has been used so far is to replace components in case of damage. Therefore the importance of preventive maintenance by scheduling preventive maintenance and making standard operating procedures (SOP) for the use and maintenance of machines with the Kolmogorov Smirnov. From the results of the discussion and data processing, the recommended preventive maintenance time interval is that every 6 working days maintenance or replacement for hammermill components is carried out, so in a year it can be as many as 52 maintenance times and for bearing components, the recommended maintenance time interval is 7 working days, so in a year can be as much as 44 times the treatment. For the sieve component, the recommended maintenance time interval is 11 working days, so in a year it can be treated as many as 28 times while for the vanbelt component, the recommended maintenance time interval is 15 working days, so in a year it can be treated as much as 20 times. And the repair time obtained from the analysis above for the hammermill component is 34.05 minutes, for the bearing component is 13.6 minutes, for the sieve component is 43.8 minutes, while for the vanbelt component it is 22.98 minutes. To maintain machine performance and preventive maintenance can run well, a Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) is made for the maintenance and use of the machine.
