Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one way for a person to work and pursue a career to provide their future life. The phenomenon of a high level of unemployment in Indonesia is expected to be able to foster motivation in each individual about the need for a sense of self-confidence, creativity, knowledge, and courage to start entrepreneurship. No exception for workers, it is also expected that those employees or workers dare to start entrepreneurship. Because someone who does not believe in his abilities, it is unlikely that the person has an interest in entrepreneurship. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between variables SelfEfficacy and Availability of Capital towards Entrepreneurship Interests. The method of this research is quantitative research. The population in this study were 128 employees of PT. Ultra Prima Abadi Surabaya who works and entrepreneurship. By using solvin formula, it was found a study sample of 96 which the researchers rounded up to 100 respondents. Data collection techniques using the questionnaire method (questionnaire). The results of the analysis in this study show: (1) Partially the value of tcount> t table (2.423> 1.986) with the value of Sig. amounting to (0.017 <0.05), indicating that there is a significant influence between the variables of self-efficacy on the interest in entrepreneurship in employees of PT. Ultra Prima Abadi Surabaya. (2) Partially the value of t count> t table (3.752> 1.986) and the value of Sig. (0,000 <0,005), indicating that there is a significant influence between the variable availability of capital towards the interest in entrepreneurship in employees of PT. Ultra Prima Abadi Surabaya. (3) Simultaneously that F count> F table (35,046> 3,09) with Sig. amounting to 0,000 <0,05, so it can be concluded that together - there is a significant effect between self-efficacy and availability of capital on the interest in entrepreneurship in employees of PT. Ultra Prima Abadi Surabaya thus that self-efficacy (X1) and the availability of capital (X2) together have a positive and significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship (Y). (4) Overall the effect of self-efficacy and availability of capital on the interest in entrepreneurship is 40.8%, while the rest of 59.2% is influenced by other factors outside the variables in this study.
